The Perfect Bikini for taking a dip— the SWIMWEAR COLLECTION bikinis are made of a 100% polyester yarn. This yarn offers excellent shape retention, resists chlorine , and dries quickly.
For those who wish to avoid polyester— The LOUNGE WEAR COLLECTION bikinis are made of strictly 100% cotton. Lounge wear bikinis are ideal for poolside lounging/ tanning, at the beach , a day on the river, or anywhere you’re planning on soaking up the sun relaxing by water but aren’t diving in. This is because cotton does NOT hold shape well when wet and will sag, and is difficult for it to return to its original shape. These bikinis cAN get wet, but it is not reccomened to spend extensive time in water
the Owner
On a road trip from Pennsylvania to Oahu, I was looking for creative ways to pass the time. I had knit scarves and blankets and crocheted Christmas ornaments and lots of beanies, but I wanted to try something new. Since I was on my way to Hawaii, of course I was in the market for some new, cute, individual bikinis! I watched loads of YouTube videos about all different kinds of patterns, which yarn was best, what size hook, and there were numerous attempts of trial and error. Even my failures I was so proud of. It inspired me to do it again and again until I knew I could do it with my eyes closed.
When I had arrived and tested them out in the water, the first blend of yarn I used was not ideal. It was sagging, holding loads of water, and I got slightly discouraged. I went back to my good ol (ENTER NAME BRAND HERE) bikini but I knew that I was capable of making one more comfortable, practical, and with more character. So, with more research, perseverance, and numerous attempts I was able to create what is now the SWIM WEAR COLLECTION.
let me tell you, I surfed, dove into large waves, hiked, and lounged in these bikinis. They are very resilient to say the least . I hope you enjoy and spend as much time outside as possible in VIORA.
